Yes, there are many resources online to help you learn WordPress, and many of them are even free! The WordPress community (comprised of people all over the world who use WordPress) are quite the giving bunch and many people publish articles and tutorials covering all aspects of building a website with WordPress.
That’s great Melinda, then why should we sign up for your workshop?
Learning WordPress on your own can be quite the time commitment. First, you’ll need to figure out where to start. Then, you’ll spend countless hours consulting Google to find the right tutorial for you. Once you find the right tutorial to get you started, you set off building your site, until it’s time to consult Google again. This process works great for some people, but others would rather have a road map, someone to ask questions of, and dedicated time (such as the workshop) in which to focus on working on their site.
If that’s you, consider signing up for an upcoming workshop.
If you’d rather work on learning WordPress on your own, here are a few resources to get you started.
